He is a clever cookie no doubt. Interesting read - challenges conventional business theory .
Not the most helpful business book out there, but it had a couple bits of interesting info from the always entertaining Richard Branson.
In my opinion this book can be very inspiring. It doesn't give you detailed rules, numbers or facts but Richard tells his business stories with a lot of affection and an interesting humbleness. Though it won't help you very much in deciding what you should do to run your own successful business it might help you in deciding that you actually want to run your own business. It's not about working for yourself or not having to worry about a boss or other people - far from it - it's about starting an "enterprise" in the original meaning, a fascinating and self-motivated journey into the unknown that will create something more than what most people think of when they hear the term "business". If you have ever given becoming an entrepreneur or starting a business even the slightest though you definitely should take the time to read this one.
